Onliner Spambot release of 711 million credentials
Over the past few days there has been another significant release of credentials, in a list known as Onliner Spambot. In total, over 711 million sets of details have been released.
At this point it's unclear where all the released credentials came from. It is expected that some of these will be duplicates from old credential releases that have previously been reported on.
It’s highly likely that these email addresses and passwords will be used for 'credential stuffing' attempts. Attackers will try the email and password combinations on different websites to see where passwords may have been reused, in order to gain access to a wide range of personal and financial information.
